Dr. Kathy Bickel
I grew up in nearby Gloucester Township and graduated from Highland High School. I always loved going to the dentist as a kid, but it wasn’t until my last year at Albright College that I decided to make dentistry my career. I attended UMDNJ- NJ Dental School (now Rutgers School of Dental Medicine). It was there that I met my future husband and partner, Matt Bickel. I came back to South Jersey to do my residency. After 5 years of working with other dentists, Matt and I decided to have a dental practice of our own. We each found that we enjoyed different aspects of general dentistry. I chose to pursue more education in orthodontics, and have loved helping to transform the smiles of children, teens, and adults. In the last several years, I have expanded my practice to treating infants who are affected by tongue and lip ties. What a joy they are! Along the way, Matt and I were blessed with 2 wonderful daughters, Katarina and Julianna. I’m so proud of both of them! When I’m not being a dentist, I enjoy the outdoors, especially in summer. I love to read, preferably with a cat on my lap. And on Wednesday nights I teach at my local church’s kid’s club. These K-2nd graders are so much fun to hang out with!
